What we would tell you in the studio
- Cable knit structure. Raised cable ropes run the length of the body to add thickness and texture. The yarn blend stays pliable across the chest, letting the garment hang straight rather than pulling tight.
- Crew collar and cuffs. Ribbing finishes the round neckline, wrist cuffs, and bottom hem. The neckband sits flat against the skin, while the sleeves stay in place when pulled up the forearm.
- Straight hip length. The hem falls right around the hips for easy pairing with denim or skirts. It fits over a basic base layer without bunching around the midsection.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cool water or select a gentle machine cycle with mild soap. Press out excess water without twisting the cables, then dry the sweater flat on a towel.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
