What we would tell you in the studio
- Adjustable polo collar. The extended front placket unbuttons to form an open neckline, while the collar lays flat or turns up against the neck. Fine ribbing along the edge keeps the shape neat through repeated buttoning.
- Straight long cut. The knit drops straight from the shoulders into a low hemline without tapering. This roomy profile sits loose around the torso, providing full coverage and room to layer a thin tank underneath.
- Ribbed cuffs and hem. Plain rib knit finishes each long sleeve and the lower edge. The cuffs grip lightly at the wrist to keep the sleeves in place, while the base hem holds its straight line over trousers or skirts.
- Yarn and laundering. We use a soft-spun yarn with a smooth, flexible hand for mild weather. Wash this piece inside out in cool water on a gentle cycle, then lay it flat on a dry towel to preserve the collar shape.
