What we would tell you in the studio
- Convertible polo collar. A flat turn-down collar meets an extended front button placket. Unbutton a few for an open V-neck, or keep it fastened to sit flat against the collarbone without pulling.
- Straight body cut. The body follows a straight H-line geometry that sits away from the torso. It hangs cleanly without cling, dropping into an extended hemline that settles well below the hips.
- Smooth ribbed cuffs. Full-length sleeves end in fine-gauge ribbed cuffs that keep the wrist neat. The yarn contains built-in stretch so the cuffs hold position when pushed up along the forearm.
- Washing and shape care. Hand wash in cold water or run on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay flat on a clean towel to dry so the weight of the damp knit does not stretch the collar.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
