What we would tell you in the studio
- Adjustable polo collar. The flat turn-down collar sits over an extended button placket. You can button it to the base of the throat or leave it open to create an easy V-neckline.
- Straight roomy cut. The body follows an H-line shape that does not taper at the waist. It gives you plenty of room through the torso and lets the fabric fall straight without clinging.
- Ribbed cuffs and hem. We finish the long sleeves with clean ribbed cuffs that keep their shape when pushed up the forearm. A matching band at the lower hem anchors the bottom edge.
- Care and washing. Hand wash or use a gentle cold cycle in a mesh laundry bag. Squeeze out excess water without twisting, then lay the knit flat on a towel to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
