What we would tell you in the studio
- Adjustable polo collar. The flat-lay collar runs into a deep button placket down the chest. You can button it high for a neat turn-down look or leave it unfastened to form a wide, relaxed open neckline across the collarbone.
- Roomy straight cut. We give the body a clean, straight H-line geometry that sits away from the torso. It does not cling through the midsection. The fabric falls straight down, giving you extra space to move through a working day.
- Ribbed cuffs and hem. Plain ribbing anchors the long sleeves at the wrist and finishes the lower edge. The knit tension in the cuffs keeps the sleeves in place when pushed up your forearm, while the hem rests flat without riding up.
- Yarn and routine care. We blend fine-gauge yarns to give this piece a soft, smooth surface with gentle natural give. Wash it on a gentle cycle inside out, then reshape the collar and lay the sweater flat on a towel to dry.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
