What we would tell you in the studio
- Smocked Bodice. The upper body uses elastic smocking that expands and recovers with your movement. It anchors the open V-neck firmly in place without pulling across the shoulders or neckband.
- Flutter Sleeves. We cut the short sleeves with added volume to drape loosely around the upper arm. The light fabric holds its flutter shape while letting air move freely.
- Skirt And Lining. The hem finishes short above the knee. We added a soft inner lining underneath the main emerald shell to keep the fabric fully opaque while walking or sitting.
- Care And Maintenance. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle to protect the smocked elastic threads and ruffle details. Lay the piece flat on a clean towel to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
