What we would tell you in the studio
- High neck construction. A raised mock collar gives the open front structure and keeps the chill off the back of the neck. It stands on its own without rolling or collapsing down.
- Roomy open cut. The body hangs straight down and stays off the skin. Dropped shoulders give the long sleeves extra room, letting the piece slide over thick tops without binding around the arms.
- Integrated side pockets. Two deep patch pockets are knitted right into the sides. They sit flat when empty and hold daily items like keys or a phone without dragging down the hemline.
- Washing and shape care. Hand wash in cold water or run on a gentle machine cycle with mild soap. Press out excess water with a towel and dry flat on a rack so the knit retains its shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
