What we would tell you in the studio
- Smooth midweight gauge. The knit balances substance with an unlined build. It feels soft against bare skin, holding its shape through repeated wear without adding bulk over shirts or light dresses.
- Dropped long sleeves. The sleeves start well off the shoulder to create extra room through the upper arm and chest. Tight ribbing finishes the wrists so the cuffs stay pushed up.
- Straight front and pockets. An open front hangs clean down the body with two inset pockets set at hip level. They sit flat when empty and carry keys or a phone without sagging.
- Cold water care. Hand wash this knit or run it on a gentle cold cycle with mild soap. Lay it flat across a towel to dry so the length does not stretch out on a hanger.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
