What we would tell you in the studio
- High neck construction. A structured mock neck brings the open front together at the collar. It stays upright without folding, creating a clean frame around the collarbone while the body drops free.
- Roomy open body. We cut the torso wide so the fabric hangs straight down without pulling. Two inset side pockets sit flat along the seams, deep enough for small daily items without adding bulk to the front.
- Dropped long sleeve. The shoulder seam sits low on the arm to soften the line across your upper back. Ribbed cuffs gather the long sleeves at the wrist to keep the volume in place.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent, or use the gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Press out excess moisture with a towel and dry flat to protect the shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
