What we would tell you in the studio
- Shoulder button detail. We set functional buttons along the shoulder seam to break up the plain black knit. They sit flat against the collarbone without twisting the crew neck.
- Straight short cut. The body is knitted straight from underarm to hem. It falls without clinging tightly to the waist and finishes at a short cropped line.
- Fine gauge knit. The yarn is blended with stretch for a smooth hand that moves easily under outer layers. It holds its shape through a full day of wear.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside out on a gentle cycle to protect the shoulder buttons. Lay flat to dry so the short hem stays level.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
