What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and raglan sleeve. The top is cut with a simple round crew neckline that lies flat against the collarbone. Raglan sleeve seams run from the neck down, giving the shoulders a soft, unconstructed line that moves easily. ribbed cuffs finish the short sleeves.
  • Wide leg trouser cut. The trousers pull on with a flexible elastic waistband and drop straight down through the leg. The wide cut keeps the knit hanging away from the skin, while neat contrast piping runs down the length of the outer side seam.
  • Single dye lot yarn. We knit both pieces together from a smooth viscose blend yarn to match tone and hand feel across the full set. The knit has enough weight to drape cleanly without clinging or bunching through regular daytime wear.
  • Washing and flat drying. Wash this set in cold water on a gentle machine cycle or by hand with a mild soap. Skip the dryer and lay both the top and trousers flat on a towel so the wide legs and seams hold their shape.
