What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck closure. The round neckline sits close to the collarbone with a neat tubular edge. Matching buttons run down the center placket so you can wear it fully closed as a light top or open over a tank.
- Cropped straight hem. The hem finishes high at the waistline in a straight cut that hangs free of the body. It pairs cleanly with high rise trousers, skirts, or layered over sleeveless dresses.
- Short sleeve gauge. We gave this piece a short sleeve that covers the shoulder and upper arm without adding bulk under heavier jackets. The lightweight knit packs down small into a bag when not in use.
- Cold water care. Hand wash in cold water or dry clean to keep the knit soft and even. Press out excess water with a towel and lay flat to dry so the short body keeps its shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
