What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck and buttons. The round neckline sits flat against the collarbone when fully buttoned. Matching buttons run down the center placket, giving you the choice to wear it closed as a light knit top or open over a base tank.
- Cropped straight cut. The hem lands short near the natural waist. Because the body is knit with a straight profile, it rests lightly against your frame rather than clinging or adding extra fabric around the midsection.
- Light fine gauge. We chose a smooth, fine-gauge knit that packs down small and resists creasing in a bag. The purple yarn has moderate mechanical stretch, providing a gentle layer for cool indoor rooms without heavy bulk.
- Cold water care. Hand wash this knit in cold water or dry clean it to protect the placket and buttonholes. Squeeze out excess water without twisting the fabric, then dry flat on a towel away from direct heat.
