What we would tell you in the studio
- Peached yarn hand. The knit carries a light brushed finish on the surface for a soft touch against bare skin. A touch of stretch helps the fabric recover its shape after hours of wear.
- Front button placket. A V-neckline leads into a clean row of engraved gold-tone buttons. You can button it fully as a light top or leave it open over a base layer.
- Sleeve and straight hem. Short sleeves give light upper-arm coverage without adding bulk under heavier jackets. The straight hem falls right around the hip line for clean lines over skirts or trousers.
- Gentle wash care. Wash on a cold cycle or hand wash in cold water to protect the brushed surface. Lay the knit flat in the shade to dry so the seams stay true.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
