What we would tell you in the studio
- V-neck and button placket. The open V-neckline sits flat against the collarbone and leaves room for base layers beneath. Engraved gold-tone buttons close the front securely, anchored by reinforced stitching along the inside band.
- Short sleeve coverage. We cut the short sleeves with a clean, straight edge that clears the elbow. The armholes allow full rotation without pulling the shoulder line or bunching fabric under the arm.
- Straight hip hem. The body drops in a clean vertical line from the chest to the hip. It avoids clinging to underlayers while keeping enough shape to sit neatly over skirts, trousers, or dresses.
- Washing and drying. Wash on a cold cycle or by hand with mild detergent. To protect the brushed texture and keep the red yarn from stretching, lay the knit flat to dry in the shade instead of hanging.
