What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed yarn hand. The knit combines fine spun yarns with added stretch for a light, smooth feel against bare skin. A peached finish gives the outer face a gentle nap that stays soft through long days of wear.
- Engraved front buttons. We finished the placket with engraved metallic buttons that fasten down the front. They give the plain white knit a clean focal point and hold the front closed without pulling at the buttonholes.
- Straight hip hem. The body falls straight from the shoulder seam without cinching at the waist. It rests right at the hip line, creating a clean edge that sits neatly over trousers, denim, or dresses.
- Care and drying. Wash this piece on a cold cycle or by hand with mild detergent. To keep the brushed texture even and preserve the shape around the neck, lay it flat on a drying rack out of direct sun.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
