What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed fine knit. We use a lightweight yarn with added stretch and treat the surface with a peached finish. The result is a soft hand that stays smooth across hours of wear without clinging or adding bulk.
- Front button placket. The open V-neck leads down to a line of engraved gold-tone metal buttons. Reinforced stitching along the placket keeps the edge flat whether you wear it buttoned up or open.
- Short sleeve cut. The neat short sleeves provide light coverage over bare arms. The armholes sit close enough to slip under heavier coats later in the season without bunching under the shoulders.
- Cold water care. Wash on a cold cycle or hand wash cold to keep the brushed texture intact. Lay the piece flat to dry in the shade so the hem and placket keep their shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
