What we would tell you in the studio
- Peached surface and yarn hand. The fine-gauge knit is blended with stretch and treated for a peached, lightly brushed surface. It feels smooth against bare arms and resists creasing when packed into a bag for cooler indoor spaces.
- V-neckline and front placket. An open V-neck gives way to a front closure set with engraved gold buttons. The reinforced placket holds its line when fastened all the way up, resting flat against collarbones without gaping between buttons.
- Straight cut and hip hem. The body falls straight from the shoulder seam down to a hem that lands near the hip line. It sits cleanly over sleeveless dresses, woven shirts, or plain cotton tops without adding bulk beneath.
- Cold wash and flat dry. Machine wash on a cold cycle or wash by hand to protect the brushed hand of the yarn. Lay the cardigan flat in the shade to dry so the knit retains its original shape and button spacing.
