What we would tell you in the studio
- Waistband and pleats. A clean front waistband leads into deep pleats that open into the leg. The back has elastic sewn directly into the casing to keep the rise in place as you sit and walk.
- Wide leg shape. The legs run wide from the upper thigh down to the hem. Because the woven fabric holds its shape without stretching, the trouser hangs away from the legs instead of clinging.
- Layering options. Tuck in a fine gauge knit tee or wear them beneath a cropped cardigan. The smooth finish layers under long coats or loose knitwear without catching on the yarn.
- Wash and care. Wash on a cold cycle inside a mesh bag to protect the pleats and waistband. Tumble dry on low heat, then hang immediately to let the legs drop out smooth.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
