What we would tell you in the studio
- Waist and closure. A front zipper closure pairs with an elastic section at the waistband. The band sits flat at the front while the back panel gives slightly as you sit or walk throughout the day.
- Pockets and construction. Two deep side pockets are set directly into the outer seams to hold cards or a phone. The cloth carries enough weight that the pockets do not pull open or disrupt the straight line down the leg.
- Leg cut and drape. The legs fall straight and wide from the high waist down to the hem. Because the fabric has minimal stretch, it keeps its shape and does not cling or bunch around the knees.
- Care and wash. Machine wash cold using a mesh laundry bag to protect the zipper and seams. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the charcoal grey tone clean and reduce creasing.
