What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide leg drape. The leg runs straight and wide from the hip down, giving the non-stretch fabric room to swing. It stays away from the skin and keeps its line throughout the day.
- Waistband and closure. A front zipper gives a clean look at the front, paired with an elastic section at the back waist. This keeps the rise seated without pinching when you sit.
- Pockets built deep. Two side pockets sit right in the side seams. We made them deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling the drape out of shape.
- Wash cold and flat. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the seams and front zip. Tumble dry on low or line dry to keep the mocha brown tone intact.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
