What we would tell you in the studio
- Waistband and closure. An elastic band at the back waist pairs with a clean front zipper. It stays secure through hours of sitting and walking without bunching up.
- Pocket construction. We built two deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit flat when empty and hold a phone or card case without distorting the drape.
- Wide leg cut. The legs fall straight and roomy from the hip down. The woven fabric has enough body to keep its shape while you move.
- Care instructions. Wash in cold water using a laundry bag to protect the seams. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang them to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
