What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide leg cut. The trousers fall straight and loose from the hip downward. The fabric holds its shape without pulling tight, leaving plenty of room through the thigh and calf.
- Waist and closure. A front zipper gives a neat finish at the waistline, backed by an elastic band that adjusts as you sit and move. The rise sits high and stays put.
- Pocket construction. We set two deep pockets directly into the side seams. They stay flat against the leg when empty and hold small items without sagging the waistband.
- Laundering and care. Wash on a cold cycle using a mesh laundry bag to protect the finish. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry so the fabric keeps its smooth hand.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.
