What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide leg cut. The legs fall straight and wide from the high waist down to the hem. The fabric maintains structure through the length of the stride without clinging or pulling across the knees.
- Waistband and closure. We built an elastic band into the back of the high waist for ease of movement, paired with a classic front zip fly. The waistband stays secure without bunching.
- Deep side pockets. Two inset side pockets are cut deep enough to hold a phone, keys, or cards. They rest flat along the side seams so the silhouette remains clean.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the seams and zipper. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the woven structure crisp.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
