What we would tell you in the studio

  • Button front and neck. The top features an open V-neckline and a row of secure front buttons. The cut runs straight through the torso and lands cleanly at the hip, giving you room to move without extra bulk.
  • Waistband and pocket details. We built the trousers with a wide elastic waistband and an adjustable front drawstring. Deep side pockets sit flat against the hip seam so you can keep small items close while moving around the house.
  • Yarn drape and hand. This knit blends smooth drape with a soft, supple hand that stays flexible through long wear. The surface feels light against bare skin while still offering light warmth across cooler mornings and evenings.
  • Laundering and care. Wash this two-piece set on a gentle machine cycle using cold water to protect the yarn texture. Reshape the top and trousers while damp, then dry flat to keep the stitch structure intact over time.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
