Women's Long Sleeve Pajama Sets Lounge 2 pieces

We knit this two-piece set for quiet hours at home. The top has a clean v-neckline with a front button placket, while the matching trousers sit on a wide elastic waistband with a working drawstring. Both pieces are dyed in the same orange bath for an exact colour match across the pair.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • V-neck button front. The top opens through a neat row of buttons below a shallow v-neck. You can leave the collar open over a tank or button it fully. The hem rests straight across the hip.
  • Drawstring trouser waist. We built the trousers with a wide elastic band that stays flat against the skin without binding. An adjustable knit cord lets you set the waist placement, and deep side pockets sit along the seam.
  • Draped stretch yarn. The yarn blends synthetic strength with a soft, fluid hand that moves easily and keeps its shape. It yields a light knit with plenty of give that does not cling or bunch while you sit.
  • Laundering and care. Wash both pieces together on a gentle cycle in cold water to keep the orange shade uniform over time. Lay the garments flat to dry so the knit retains its length and ribbing.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
