What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crossover halter neck. The front panels cross over the chest to create an open neck with clean edges. It sits flat against the collarbone without pulling or bunching.
  • Roomy longline drape. We gave this top a relaxed body that falls straight past the hips. The knit drops freely rather than clinging, giving you plenty of space through the waist.
  • Light fine gauge yarn. Spun with a blend of viscose, polyester, and nylon, the knit feels cool and smooth on bare skin. It packs light for travel and keeps its shape after hours of wear.
  • Cold wash care. Wash by hand or run it on a gentle cold cycle with mild detergent. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the long hem does not stretch out.

Living with this one

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
