What we would tell you in the studio

  • Speckled knit gauge. The Black Dot Grey finish blends dark flecks into a medium grey base. The knit has enough weight to drop straight without clinging, holding its shape through repeated wear.
  • High collar construction. The neckline is knitted with a stand collar that rests comfortably against the neck. It holds its upright shape without rolling or pressing tight.
  • Relaxed cut and drape. We shaped both the top and trousers with extra ease throughout the body. The hem falls loose around the hip, giving you room to move naturally.
  • Washing and flat drying. Hand wash this set in cold water with mild detergent to preserve the yarn hand. Press out excess moisture in a towel and dry flat on a rack.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
