Womens 2 Piece Summer Short Sets

We knit this two-piece set in a uniform navy dye lot so the top and bottoms share identical weight and texture. The cut sits loose and hangs away from the frame without clinging. Long sleeves balance the open crew neckline, giving you a coordinated pair that works together or as separates.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck structure. The round crew collar is finished with a clean ribbed band that lies flat against the collarbone. It holds its circular shape across repeated wears without stretching out or rolling at the edge.
  • Sleeve and hem balance. Full-length sleeves run straight down to the wrists, pairing with a lower hem that drops long toward the ankles. This extended length gives the fabric room to drape straight down naturally.
  • Roomy knit drape. The gauge is light and flexible, giving both pieces a relaxed hang that sits away from the skin. It moves freely while retaining its shape through a full day of wear.
  • Care and wash. Wash both pieces together on a gentle cold cycle to keep the navy shade consistent across the set. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry to preserve the original sleeve and body length.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
