What we would tell you in the studio
- Fine gauge stretch. The yarn blends fine synthetic threads with spandex to create a dense, smooth surface that stretches across the body and snaps back cleanly after wear.
- Sleeveless top. Slender straps support a plain rounded neckline. The armholes are cut to sit flat against the skin without digging or gaping during movement.
- Short straight hem. The skirt ends high on the leg with a neat turned hem that keeps its horizontal line rather than curling upward as you walk.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag alongside pale colours. Lay the dress flat to dry so the straps and side seams hold their original shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.
