What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and shoulder. The round neck is bound with a narrow band that sits flat against the collarbone. Clean sleeveless openings leave the arms free and layer smoothly under light summer jackets.
  • Close bodycon gauge. We knit this with high elasticity so the fabric hugs the body without bagging out through an evening. The yarn feels cool to the touch and recovers its shape after sitting.
  • Short straight hem. The hem finishes straight across the mid thigh. It is knitted cleanly without bulky seams, keeping the lower edge flat against the leg when paired with flat sandals or heels.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine knit surface from friction. Wash with like colours and lay it flat on a dry towel to maintain the shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
