What we would tell you in the studio

  • Close knit gauge. The knit is smooth, light, and elastic, built with enough stretch to sit tight to the frame without bagging out across hours of wear.
  • Crew neck and shoulder line. A plain round crew neck keeps the top clean. The sleeveless cut leaves shoulders bare and layers flat under jackets or lightweight knit wraps.
  • Cropped mini hem. The hem lands short on the thigh. Because the knit holds its tension, the bottom edge stays put as you walk instead of creeping upward.
  • Launder and care. Wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag with like colours. Lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the knit keeps its shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
