What we would tell you in the studio

  • Close bodycon knit. The fine gauge yarn carries plenty of stretch, pulling the knit tight to the body while keeping its shape through hours of wear. It feels smooth and light on bare skin.
  • Clean crew neckline. A plain round neck is finished with a flat bound edge so it stays flat across the collarbone. It leaves the shoulders bare without pulling or puckering at the armholes.
  • Cropped mini hem. The straight hem lands high on the thigh. We finished the bottom edge with a low-profile stitch that resists curling, even when you sit or walk.
  • Laundry bag wash. Machine wash this dress in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine stitches from snagging. Reshape the dress while damp and lay it flat to dry.
