What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck top cut. The top sits straight from the shoulder line down to the hip hem without clinging. We finished the plain round crewneck with a fine band so it lies flat against the collarbone.
  • Wide leg trouser. The trousers drop straight from the high waist down to the hem. A wide elastic band holds the waist, threaded with a self-yarn drawstring so you can adjust the tension.
  • Yarn and drape. Knitted in a smooth beige yarn with built-in stretch, the fabric holds a steady drape that moves when you walk. Both pieces come from the same dye batch for an exact colour match.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or dry clean. We suggest laying both pieces flat to dry on a towel so the knit retains its original length and shape.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
