What we would tell you in the studio
- Quarter zip collar. The tall ribbed collar stands straight against the neck when fully zipped. Unzip it halfway to let the knit fold back over the collarbone like a wide collar.
- Apricot stripe pattern. Horizontal stripes alternate warm apricot with clean white across the chest, sleeves, and back panel. The contrasting blocks run unbroken from the dropped shoulder seam down to the wrists.
- Roomy straight drape. The body is cut wide and hangs away from the waist without pulling tight. Ribbing at the bottom edge finishes the hem without cinching the line inward.
- Care and washing. Hand wash this knit in cold water or send it for dry cleaning. Avoid bleach, press gently between dry towels to remove excess water, and lay it flat to dry.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
