What we would tell you in the studio
- Quarter zip neck. The collar is knitted in a thick rib that holds its shape. Pull the zip up to sit around the neck, or leave it halfway down to open the neckline over a base layer.
- Cut and drape. We knit the torso with extra room through the chest and waist. The fabric hangs straight without clinging, resting at the hip with a relaxed line.
- Ribbed trim. A solid navy rib finishes the collar, cuffs, and bottom hem. The sleeve ribbing holds the wrist in place if you pull the long sleeves up your forearms.
- Cold water wash. Wash this knit by hand in cold water or send it to a dry cleaner. Lay it flat on a dry towel to dry so the stripe pattern and ribbing do not stretch out.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
