What we would tell you in the studio
- Quarter zip collar. The metal zipper pulls up to form a stand collar around the throat. Unzipped, the knit spreads out across the collarbones and lies flat against your base layer.
- Ribbed stripe construction. We alternated dark apricot and white yarn across a vertical rib gauge. The ribbing gives the knit horizontal stretch while keeping the vertical lines steady through the body.
- Dropped long sleeves. The shoulder seam sits low on the upper arm, creating extra room through the chest. The sleeves run long and finish with ribbed cuffs that stay in place at the wrists.
- Care for the yarn. Hand wash this sweater in cool water or have it dry cleaned. Squeeze out excess moisture without wringing the fabric, then dry the garment flat on a towel to preserve the rib structure.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
