What we would tell you in the studio

  • Half-high collar. The neck rises into a close stand collar that sits upright without folding over. It holds its shape through a full day of wear and rests smooth against the throat.
  • Straight leg cut. The trousers drop straight from an elasticated waist with a knitted drawcord. Side pockets sit flat along the seams, deep enough to hold a phone without pulling down the waistband.
  • Matched black knit. Both pieces share the exact same dye bath and stitch density. The yarn has a smooth hand with enough give to recover after sitting, keeping the knees and seat in shape.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat, or lay both pieces flat on a clean towel to dry.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
