What we would tell you in the studio
- High mock collar. The collar stands upright on the neck without turning over. It is knitted in a tidy rib that stays firm and keeps drafts out while letting the sweater pull easily over your head.
- Long split hem. The lower edge lands well below the knee, cut straight across with deep side splits. These openings give you room to take a normal stride without the heavy knit bunching or catching as you walk.
- Loose body cut. We shaped this piece with an oversized line that hangs away from the torso. It layers neatly over thick leggings or denim and leaves plenty of space underneath for thermal base layers.
- Yarn and laundering. Wash this piece in cool water using a gentle cycle or wash it by hand. Lay it out flat on a towel away from direct heat to dry so the long hem holds its shape.
