What we would tell you in the studio
- Upright mock neckline. The collar rises directly from the shoulder line without a fold. It stays up around the throat to block drafts, holding its shape without squeezing.
- Dropped straight body. We shaped the torso with extra width from the underarms down to the hem. The knit hangs straight down rather than pulling in at the waist, leaving ample room for base layers.
- Split side hem. A deep slit opens each side seam right down to the lower edge. This split lets the front and back panels separate cleanly over the hips as you walk or sit.
- Dark apricot yarn. This shade blends warm peach and muted clay tones across a medium-gauge knit. Wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and dry it flat.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
