What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed yarn hand. The yarn carries a fuzzy surface texture blended with wool for cold-weather warmth. We suggest an initial wash before your first wear, which softens the yarn further and settles the knit gauge across the body.
- Neckline and cuffs. The plain round crewneck sits comfortably flat against the collarbone with sturdy ribbing. Matching rib finishes each sleeve, gathering the long knit enough at the wrist so the cuffs stay put over your hands.
- Long straight cut. The body falls straight down without pulling in, dropping below the knee toward the ankle. Because it sits away from the hips and waist, you can wear it over thick knit leggings, jeans, or a collared shirt.
- Gentle cycle care. Wash cold on a gentle machine cycle or by hand to preserve the fuzzy surface. Squeeze excess water out in a towel and dry the garment flat so the heavy knit retains its original length and shape.
