What we would tell you in the studio
- Wide fold neckline. The broad band folds over at the top and stays where you place it. You can wear it straight across the shoulders or pull it down on one side for an asymmetrical opening.
- Batwing sleeve construction. The armholes drop low from the body panel, creating room through the chest and upper arm. The knit tapers down to a clean, ribbed cuff at the wrist.
- Relaxed body drape. We gave this piece a loose, roomy cut that hangs away from the waist. The hem finishes around the hips and rests easily over denim or knit trousers.
- Yarn care routine. Hand wash in cold water or use a gentle cycle with a mesh bag. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the broad neckline keeps its shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
