What we would tell you in the studio
- Open crochet stitch. The yarn is worked in an airy open crochet pattern that allows constant airflow. It has a dry, light hand against bare skin and holds its lattice shape without feeling stiff.
- Tie front neckline. The V-neck plunges down the center front and secures with adjustable knit ties. You can tie them loose to leave the front open or knotted close over a base layer.
- Sleeveless straight cut. Dropped armholes give the shoulders a clean line while keeping the sides open and cool. The body drops straight down to the hip without clinging or pulling at the waist.
- Hand wash care. To keep the open-knit crochet loops from snagging or pulling out of shape, wash by hand in cold water. Gently press the water out in a towel and dry the vest flat.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
