What we would tell you in the studio
- Open crochet stitch. The loose, openwork gauge creates a light grid that holds its shape while staying airy. It feels soft against bare skin without adding heavy warmth.
- Tie-front closure. Two slim self-yarn ties fasten the deep V-neck down the center front. You can knot them loose to leave the front open or tie them close to secure the shape.
- Roomy sleeveless cut. Dropped armholes leave plenty of space underneath for layered tops or swimwear. The straight sides fall clear of the body down to the hip line.
- Cold water care. Hand wash this open knit in cool water to protect the crocheted yarn loops from snagging. Press out water gently in a towel and dry it flat.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
