What we would tell you in the studio
- Open crochet knit. The openwork stitch creates a light grid across the body. It gives the vest flexibility and keeps the layer airy over swimwear, tank tops, or bare skin.
- Adjustable tie front. Two ties secure the center front without buttons or hardware. You can knot them loose to widen the neckline or tie them closer to narrow the opening.
- Sleeveless cut. The armholes are cut clean and sit flat against the shoulder. The open sides leave plenty of space for layering over bralettes or linen shirts.
- Hand wash care. Submerge in cool water and wash by hand to protect the crochet stitches. Press out excess moisture in a towel and dry flat so the ties and hem keep their shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
