What we would tell you in the studio
- Bright red yarn. The saturated red hue is dyed directly into the smooth yarn before knitting. It gives the lightweight surface an even, clean finish with a soft hand that sits comfortably against bare skin.
- Long hemline. We drop the hem well below the knee so the fabric moves freely as you walk. The open front stays straight without pulling, creating a steady vertical line over base layers.
- Crew neck and pockets. A simple round crew neck rests flat against the collarbone without bulk. We added roomy patch pockets near the hips to hold small items without sagging the knit structure.
- Washing and shape. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cool water to keep the red clear. Skip the bleach, then lay the knit flat across a drying rack so the long length keeps its shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
