What we would tell you in the studio

  • Longline cut and drape. The body falls straight and hangs away from the torso down to a low hemline. That extra length gives the lightweight knit steady downward pull without adding heavy bulk around the hips.
  • Crew neck and front. A round crew neck frames the collarbone cleanly. The front band stays flat when worn open, pairing easily with high-neck tops, collared shirts or light slip dresses underneath.
  • Sleeve and pocket details. Full-length sleeves sit easily over light layers without bunching up at the forearm. We set roomy patch pockets at the front panels to hold small daily items without distorting the knit structure.
  • Wash and shape care. Machine wash on a low temperature gentle cycle without bleach. Lay the cardigan flat on a towel to dry so the long hem does not stretch out, and use a cool iron if needed.
