What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and front placket. The neckline is finished as a neat crew that rests close to the base of the neck. Down the front, the banded edges drop straight without buttons, letting the knit stay open and move as you walk.
  • Long straight cut. This piece falls well below the knee toward the ankle in a relaxed, roomy line. It does not cling around the waist or hips, giving underlayers plenty of space.
  • Sleeve and pocket details. Full-length sleeves finish with a simple self-edge at the wrist. Two patch pockets sit low on the front panels, wide enough to hold a phone or rest your hands.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool water and skip the bleach. Reshape the damp cardigan and lay it flat to dry so the long hem holds its shape.
