What we would tell you in the studio

  • Length and cut. The body is cut loose to hang well away from the hips, settling down past the knee toward the ankle. That extra length gives the open front weight to stay straight as you walk.
  • Crew neck and front. A smooth crew neckline frames the collar without bulk. The edges run down into flat front bands that sit flush against tees, slip dresses, or lightweight turtlenecks without bunching up.
  • Sleeve profile. Long sleeves follow the arm cleanly down to simple self-knit cuffs. They fit easily over long-sleeve shirts while remaining slim enough to slide under a heavier winter coat later in the year.
  • Washing and care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and lay it flat to dry on a towel. A quick pass with a low iron clears out fold lines without flattening the surface of the knit.
