What we would tell you in the studio

  • Long line hem. The hem falls well below the knee, ending near the ankle depending on height. It keeps a clean straight edge that hangs freely, creating a long line over trousers, dresses, or base layers.
  • Crew neck edge. We finished the top with a simple round crew neckline. It sits flat along the collarbone and frames whatever you wear underneath, from simple tees to collared shirts, without folding or bunching.
  • Roomy open cut. The body is cut wide and hangs away from the waist and hips. This extra room lets the lightweight knit drape naturally, making it easy to pull over thicker long-sleeve tops without pulling or binding.
  • Washing and care. Wash on a gentle cycle with cool water to protect the fine knit texture. Lay it flat on a drying rack to dry, as hanging a wet long-line knit can stretch the body out of shape.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
